Preparing for the fall season

Sunday, September 9th, 2007
I just posted some pictures of Sifu Jun Ing's recent visit to China. Of particular interest are the photos of some of the 2008 Olympic facilities. We have two events to prepare for in September. On the 15th is the annual Hoy Ping Mid-Autumn banquet at the Floata. We will be doing an elaborate lion dance followed by about a 10-set kung fu performance. As an added bonus, Hoy Ping is bringing in some semi-professional karaoke singers (rather than the usual suspects who mercilessly assault the volume). On the 16th is the Sam Duck banquet at the Pink Pearl. We will be bringing one Hoy Ping lion and will be eye-dotting two of the new Sam Duck lions. We'll have a fourth uniform now ... for Sam Duck. We'll also do a 10-set kung fu performance.
